Thursdays 6-7:30pm
(beginner to advanced)
Foundational techniques with a focus on structure, balance, and building strength through drills and empty hands forms. The last half hour of class focuses on sparring strategies and martial application of techniques for self-defense.
New beginners should take this class at least a few times before taking any other classes. Intermediate/advanced students can also greatly benefit from this class by diving deeper to hone their foundational skills.
Tuesdays 6-7:30pm (by permission)
Incorporating qigong and taiji exercises and principles in the warmup, then building on foundational kung fu skills through drills and forms (empty hands and/or weapons) to find efficient body connection and generate greater power.
New beginners should take the Thursday Foundations class at least a few times before taking this class.
Fridays 6-7:30pm (by permission)
This class incorporates qigong and taiji exercises and principles in the warmup, then teaches advanced techniques to find deeper connection, power, and martial application through drills and forms. The last half hour of class focuses on advanced weapons training.
Instructor permission required for this faster-paced class.
